Program 2023: DTM and GT World Challenge

22. March 2023

After my time as the Porsche Junior and my title in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland there are new challenges on the horizon.

In the 2023 season I will be competing in various championships in the brand new Porsche 911 GT3R for the first time.

With big pleasure I announced my participation in the DTM last week. As part of KÜS Team Bernhard, the team of two-time Le Mans Overall Winner Timo Bernhard, I will be racing the number #75 car. It’s a huge privilege for me to pilot one of six Porsche in the DTM and fight for championship points. The season highlight will be my home race at the Norisring in Nuremberg. After a intensive testing program the season will start in Oschersleben on the 27th of May.

Next to the DTM I’ll also have the opportunity to gather my first experiences in Endurance racing. Driving for Rutronik Racing I will be taking part in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The series consists next to the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps of four other endurance races like the season opener in Monza or the 1000km of Paul Ricard. I will share the Porsche GT3R with the number #96 together with Thomas Preining and Dennis Olsen.

I’m more than happy with this program as I can fight for success in Europe’s biggest GT competitions as well as collect lots of experience in the new Porsche 911 GT3R.

I want to thank Porsche and both teams for the opportunity and the confidence in my skills!
